Must-see stops on the route are the Trevi Fountain (don’t forget to toss a coin, or maybe two), the Column of the Immaculate Conception, then the Pantheon, the best-preserved ancient temple, and Piazza Navona.
We will end our journey on the Capitoline Hill, Rome’s most harmonious square, designed by Buonarroti, offering a breathtaking view over the Roman Forum.
And, of course, we will stop to admire the majestic Colosseum, symbol of the Eternal City.

Rome through the centuries
Among many things, in my view, because it’s enough to walk through the historic center to see how incredible and long the history of the Eternal City is, a city that spans centuries and millennia, in every sense. That’s why it’s enough to stroll, for example, from Via dei Fori Imperiali to the Jewish Quarter, to realize you’re passing near monuments, areas or remains from past eras, from different past eras: Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, modern and ancient times. An engaging and striking mix, which makes Rome a unique city.
Aventine Hill, from which one of the most beautiful views of Rome opens up. We will visit the Orange Garden and look through the legendary keyhole of the Order of Malta.
Along the way we will see the Mouth of Truth, the famous stone mask said to detect lies, and the medieval basilica of Santa Maria in Cosmedin, built on the remains of ancient buildings.
We will walk through the Forum Boarium, one of the oldest temples.
We will end the route on Tiber Island, a magical place with very ancient roots. Once the temple of Aesculapius stood here; today it hosts a hospital and a basilica.

We will visit the largest Catholic cathedral, St. Peter’s Basilica, pass through the Holy Door, see the tomb of the Apostle Peter, and go down to the Vatican Grottoes, where about 150 popes rest.
We will visit the chapels with the unique images of Princess Olga and St. Volodymyr, where the Ukrainian coat of arms is visible.
